This Egg Fried Couscous recipe can be a great lunch by itself or served as a side for dinner. It is a low-effort quick recipe which takes only 20 minutes to prepare. 🥚
- 1 cup couscous
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp universal vegetable seasoning
- Cook 1 cup couscous (as stated on the package) and set aside.
- Dissolve 1 tbsp brown sugar in 4 tbsp soy sauce.
- Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and stir fry 3 eggs, set aside.
- Add the cooked couscous, 1 tsp ground ginger and 1 tsp universal vegetable seasoning in the pan and stir until well mixed.
- Add the brown sugar and soy sauce mixture and the fried eggs.
- Mix well and serve.
