This strawberry cake’s sweetness level depends on the strawberries that you use to make it. 🍓 So it is a perfect dessert for those who don’t like their cakes too sweet. However, if you like your desserts sweeter you can always add some maple syrup on top of this cake! 😋
- 2 cups strawberries
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ cup oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- salt
- Preheat the oven to 190ºC (375ºF)
- Beat together 2 eggs and 1 cup sugar
- Add ¾ cup milk, ½ cup oil and 1 tsp vanilla extract and mix well
- In a separate bowl mix well 2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt
- Start adding the flour mixture to the wet mixture little by little until well mixed
- In a baking pan lined with baking paper pour half of it, add a layer of strawberries (most of them, but leave some for the top of the cake) and then pour the second half if the mixture over them
- Bake for around 50 minutes
